The economy is on track to achieving the much talked about stability the Finance Minister Seth Terkper has assured.
Speaking at a press conference Tuesday on government’s economic turnaround strategies, Mr. Tekper said measures employed have helped reduce the country’s rising expenditure.
"Over the last two and half years, we have followed a path of fiscal consolidation, whilst also investing in the real and social sectors. The prospects also remain bright as the country transitions to lower middle income country" a document the Minister presented at the conference inidcated.
He added that some of these measures has also helped or put a lot of restrictions on Ministries Department and Agencies (MDAs) to spend within approved budgets.
