Several people are feared dead in an accident involving a mini Yutong bus near Suhum Wednesday morning.
The bus, which was on its way to Accra from Kumasi, reportedly somersaulted several times in an attempt to overtake another vehicle.
An eyewitness Felix Annan told Joy News local residents were trying to remove bodies from the bus which ended up in a ditch.
According to Mr Annan, he saw a lady with the “left arm absolutely cut with blood coming out of the mouth” and the chest soaked with blood.
He suspected some lives were lost; recounting that he saw people lying motionless and covered with cloth.
At the time he left the scene, residents were “struggling” to get the trapped driver out of the bus.
