Radio and TV personality Nana Aba Anamoah has launched the second edition of the women empowerment project called the “Women of Valour”.
The project that began last year, seeks to bring together women from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, through courage and enthusiasm in doing things.
As part of this project, some notable women who have gone through life’s own game, are brought up on stage to inspire women that, ‘they can also do the same’.

Speakers for this program were unveiled at the launch on February 08, 2024.
They are Shirley Frimpong Manso, Rita Dominic and Bonan Matheba.
Speaking to Doreen Avio, Nana Aba, elaborated on how wonderful her speakers for the upcoming program, are.
“These women are professionals, Shirley is a supreme woman, I mean, the way she went about it, was fantastic. I requested a video, and when it came, she had already edited it. She proved to me that she is a filmmaker and knows better than me. We didn’t have to touch her video at all.”
“Rita, a professional, and her manager as well, so is Bonan, her manager, fantastic”, she said.
The Switzerland Ambassador to Ghana, Simone Giger said she is very excited because the project synchronises with her.
According to her, making Ghana a better place for all is her ultimate goal and this is a means to reaching there.
“I have great admiration for any woman who tries to make our world a better place for all women and I think that’s the essence of this initiative and so we should lift each other.
“It is something that we need in Ghana and if I have to make any contribution to that, then I am very happy to do so”, she said.
She further admonished Ghanaian women and men to adopt the attitude of unison and be very courageous at all times alongside having hope in all that they do.
“You are not alone, so let’s not lose hope but work together and make Ghana a better place for all women and men alike. That’s also hope for the future and I think we all can make it happen,” she said.
