Six more communities in the Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira District, are to be connected to the national grid, Mr Yaw Agyeibi-Kessie, District Chief Executive (DCE), announced at Twifo-Praso on Wednesday.
He mentioned the beneficiary communities as Somnyame-Kodur, Aponapono, Mbaabaasa, Nuamakrom, Afossua and Nyameani that had been selected under the Special Rural Electrification Project.
The DCE said high-tension poles were currently being installed to facilitate the project, adding that so far, 24 communities in the District had been hooked to the national grid.
They include Nyenase, Adugyaa, Kayireku, Morkwaa, Agona, Kotokye and Paaso.
