US-based non-Governmental Organization, Soccer for Dreamers launched a free learning platform dubbed the Ubuntu Online Academy at the British Council on Friday, July 28, 2023.
The initiative, invented by the group's president, Mrs Sylvia Akwaboah and co-founders, Jed and Baruch, is to facilitate the youth to excel in life outside the football field.

'Ubuntu' which means "I am because you are" will create opportunities which are aimed at closing the gap between the privileged and the poor.
The event was joined by Madam Phyllis Addo, a nutritionist as well as the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Mark Addo.
The programme forms part of the three benevolent missions by Soccer for Dreamers to help underprivileged footballers in Ghana.

It began with the donation of football gear and menstrual cups to female Division One clubs participating in the Women's Regional Championship in Kyebi before similar generosity in Winneba.
In the Central region, Soccer for Dreamers demonstrated their commitment to helping Ghanaian footballers by gifting four football clubs with boots, balls, gloves, shin guards, bags, and other items.

A football tournament was organised where Miracle Land emerged victorious following a 1-0 victory over Awutu Winton Secondary School in the final match.
Soccer for Dreams has been engaging in acts of benevolence for a couple of years.
