The Joy Sports team on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, received copies of the autobiography of the late C.K Gyamfi from his sons.
The presentation was made by Duke Gyamfi, one of the sons of the former Black Stars player at the studios of Joy FM in the early hours of Wednesday.
The donation was to thank the Joy Sports team and the Multimedia Group for their contribution to supporting and promoting the autobiography of the three-time Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winning Ghanaian coach.
The book dubbed 'The Black Star' was written by C.K Gyamfi and award-winning writer, Fiifi Anaman and was later launched on May 19, 2022.
Fiifi expressed his gratitude to the team for the warm reception since deciding to bring forth the project.
"On behalf of the Gyamfi family, we want to say we are very grateful to Joy FM and the JoySports for accepting us. They were one of the first stations to interview us regarding the book and it is a pleasure to present these to you," he said.
Receiving the book on behalf of the JoySports team, Nathaniel Attoh said, "I would like to say a very big thank you to the family of the late C.K Gyamfi - a man whose name is obviously very much etched in the history of our football and a pioneer of Ghana football.
"Joy Sports granted him his last live radio interview and we are proud to say that," he added.
The book is still available for purchase and anyone who wishes to get a copy can order one using this link.
