It was a day of unforgettable musical experience at the National Theatre as the Sounds of Sweetness Concert served music lovers with fantastic contemporary Ghanaian music and art display.
The Concert which was held Saturday night unlocked the natural flavour of Ghanaian music and art and brought the auditorium of the National Theater to a standstill with a perfect cocktail of several genres of music.
The third edition of Sounds of Sweetness Concert was aimed at preserving Ghanaian arts as well as protecting the rich Ghanaian cultural heritage.
The all-Ghanaian musical concert spiced with poetry and dance featured showbiz gurus like A. B. Crentsil, Amandzeba, Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Jackie Ankrah, Becca and Efya.
Rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame set the ball rolling with his hit songs like Woso, Faithful, Tintinto, Masan aba, Anaa and was later joined on stage by Kesse to perform his hit tune Sika.
Okyeame Kwame lived up to his name Mr. Versatile by performing exquisitely with a live band to the surprise of patrons music lovers who gathered at the National Theatre.
Okyeame Kwame, also known as the Rap Doctor, held patrons spellbound with his electrifying dance steps that kept them craving for more all night.
Becca, spotting a typical afro hair started her live performance on a slow tempo to draw the audience into her groove. She charmed the audience with her creative stagecraft that got them singing along.
Becca who put up a sterling performance with popular hits Daa Ke daa, Forever, African Woman and Odo Why to the delight of everyone present.
Jane Awindor known in showbiz as Efya set the auditorium agog as she slowing walked on stage with her rendition of Nigerian act Duncan Mighty’s hit song Obianuju backed by a live band.
Sensational Efya rocked the stage with other renowned singles including For You, Little Things, Best In Me and her new single Getaway.
