The South Dayi Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended heartfelt condolences to Togbega Atikpladza Agbiyao XIII, the Paramount Chief of the Kpali Traditional Area.
The high-powered delegation was led by the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama; Chairman of the South Dayi Constituency, Prince Alex Adobo; District Chief Executive Courage Kwame Kokroko; and other key constituency and branch executives.
Speaking on behalf of President Mahama and the national leadership of the party, Dr Asiama conveyed warm greetings and a message of comfort to the traditional authority and the people of Kpali.
He also used the occasion to highlight the party’s enduring commitment to sound economic governance and inclusive development.
"We recognise the challenges our people face and remain steadfast in our resolve to deliver progress through unity and collaboration," Dr. Asiama stated. "This visit is not only to mourn with the Kpali Traditional Area but also to reaffirm our shared values and enduring partnership."
The delegation observed a minute’s silence in honour of eight NDC members who tragically lost their lives in a recent helicopter crash while on national duty—a loss that has deeply shaken the party and the nation.

District Chief Executive Courage Kwame Kokroko reassured residents of the government’s responsiveness to local concerns.
He emphasised ongoing collaboration between the district leadership, Dr. Asiama, and South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor to deliver meaningful development to the area.
The NDC leadership expressed deep appreciation to all constituency and branch executives, as well as the local community, for their unwavering support and contributions to the success of the visit.
The visit marked not only a gesture of condolence but also a reaffirmation of the NDC’s enduring bond with the traditional leadership and people of South Dayi—one rooted in respect, empathy, and a shared vision for progress.
