The profits of Stanbic Bank hit 108 million Ghana cedis last year. This represents almost 90 percent jump in that of 2012.
According industry watchers, this is the bank's best performance since it began operations in the country. The bank's income from interest earning businesses increased to 302 million Ghana cedis.
Stanbic also made some strides in deposit mobilization and loans advanced to customers.
However the loans that managers fear might go bad increased to 14.6 million Ghana cedis.
