Dancehall artiste, Iwan, is organizing a street carnival for residents of Accra New Town on Monday to mark the Eid ul Adah festival.
The programme, according to Iwan, is to afford the people of New Town a chance to celebrate the festival with ‘the stars’, more importantly, because there hasn’t been any such show for a long time in the area, he said.
The event promises much fun with artist like OJ Blaq, Guru, 4X4, Racheal, VIP, 5X5, Bandana, among others, on board. The will also offer young and upcoming acts the opportunity to exhibit their talents.
There will also be an autograph session on Sunday (Salla Day) by Iwan and the other supporting artistes.
Iwan, who hails from Accra New Town, is also expected to launch, officially, a new video for his 2nd Album titled 12th September on Monday.
