Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Emmanuel Baffour has defended his move abroad despite failing to meet expectations at Sundowns.
Baffour was the most sought-after Ghanaian player exactly a year ago when he had rattled in 21 goals for the Golden Shoe Award.
He was chased by clubs in Europe and on the continent but opted to join the South African Premier League side.
Local giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko were also on
There are suggestions he could have stayed longer in the Ghana top-flight to hone his talent but the former Tema Youth striker disagrees.
"I have played a lot of clubs in Ghana (three clubs) and I have been in the Glo Premier League for years and I think I have to change environment that is why I went to South Africa to play but you can see that I didn't have much playing time there," Baffour told MTNFootball in an exclusive interview.
