Four people have been confirmed dead in a fatal explosion in Tema in Accra.
The explosion occured some few hours ago at a boy's quarters which runs a tye-dye business in Tema.
It is not clear the cause of the explosion.
One of the victims of the explosion is said to be a chief of Akyem Techiman, Osaberima Nana Danso Abeam.
His son, Samuel Oppong in an interview with Adom News confirmed the incident, describing it as a disaster.

He said he heard a loud sound which virtually threw him to the ground and when he woke up he went to check on everybody.
He said it appeared everybody was okay until he called his father who failed to respond.
He later found him dead with his body charred.
Tema Police PRO ASP Olivia Turkson also confirmed the incident in an interview to Joy News.
She said the deceased persons had parts of their bodies blown apart in the explosion.
Turkson said the police quickly got to the scene of the incident when they heard the blast. Two other persons trapped in a room were rescued and rushed to the hospital, she indicated.
"So far two people have also sustained varying degrees of injuries," she said, adding, "we are gathering pieces of information together" to know the cause of the blast.
