Members of Tema District Council of Labour of Ghana Trades Union Congress, would on Tuesday, May 11, embark on a peaceful demonstration to back demand for uninterrupted supply of crude oil at Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
A statement signed by Mr Wilson Agana, Chairman of the council and Mr Ebenezer Kodwo Taylor, Secretary, said the demonstration would also be in support of the abolishing of the tolling system at the refinery.
It said the demonstrators would converge at the Tema Community Centre at 0600 hours and appealed to employers within the Metropolis to release their staff and their union officials to join the workers of TOR for the protest.
