Six fire incidents were recorded in a day at the nation’s industrial hub, Tema.
The Tema Municipal Fire Officer, Mr Paul Tamakloe, told newsmen that the fire outbreaks occurred Thursday between mid-night and morning and affected houses in Communities 5, 11, 12, Klagon, Tema New Town and off the Spintex road.
The causes of the incidents are unknown and are being investigated.
Mr Tamakloe advised residents to inform the Fire Service on time and to give correct directions in the event of fire outbreak to enable personnel to easily locate the scene.
