Tema Real Sportive defeated Accra Great Olympics 1-0 in their GT Onetouch Premier League match played at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The match, witnessed by a sparse crowd, saw Olympics putting up sustained pressure on their opponents soon after kick off.
Olympics nearly went ahead in the 15th minute but Tanko Mohammed who had a good chance to score, fumbled in front of goal.
Evans Aidoo of Sportive also messed up a golden chance in the 38th minute when with only goalkeeper Ibrahim Salifu to beat, he shot off target.
In the 53rd minute, Sportive’s Frank Awuah’s goal-bound shot was beautifully cleared from the goal-line by Olympics Seth Konadu.
Sportive’s substitute, Richard Afful, however, made victory certain for his side when he delivered a powerful shot in the 86th minute that easily beat keeper Salifu for the only goal of the match.
The best player award went to Nuhu Fuseini of Sportive.
