The Founder and General Overseer of Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry at Oblogo near Weija in the Ga South Municipality of Accra, Prophet Nana Kofi Yirenkyi, alias Jesus Onetouch has decried how “lives are being destroyed at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison”.
Jesus Onetouch who returned home from the Nsawam Prison on Tuesday following his acquittal after serving five months of a 10-year jail term for incest and defilement, said the homeless and those sleeping on the streets are better off than people who have mansions but are serving jail terms at the Nsawam prison.
Narrating his ordeal in prison on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Wednesday, Jesus Onetouch said hell is real and it starts from the prison.
He added that most inmates are innocent people who have been accused wrongly.
Jesus Onetouch said some suspects have been kept there for years without being taken to court, while condemned prisoners are waiting for death to take them away. Nana Kofi Yirenkyi has therefore advised Ghanaians to avoid situations that will send them to prison.
He however said discipline at the Nsawam Prison is at its best as the place serves as a reform center.
On Adom FM Wednesday, he insisted he never had canal knowledge of her daughter for which he was jailed.
He claimed before his release he had a dream of some men of God in the country including Archbishop Duncan Williams, Dr. Dag Heward-Mills escorting him out of prison.
He maintained that he holds no grudge against people who masterminded his incarceration, including the mother of his daughter, the judge and people who testified against him in court.
Jesus Onetouch revealed he had plans to commit suicide while in prison as he said he was overwhelmed by the troubles at the prison but had a change of mind.
He disclosed that while in prison he established a Christian fellowship called "The storm is over prayer fellowship" which had a sizable following, including inmates.
