On March 9, 2021 Anatu Sadat made history in the Ghana women's Premier League as she became the first player to wear a hijab whilst playing.
She went viral after taking such a bold step as her pictures were shared all over social media. It took years for her to finally reach this historic feat.
However, she didn't do it all by herself, she had support from FC Nordsjælland defender Maxwell Woledzi and Nike.
