Ghanaian Afrobeats sensation, Tina Brown Africa, has been nominated for Vocalist of the Year in the 2024 Ashanti Music Awards.
The recognition comes on the heels of her latest single, ‘Falling’, which has captured the hearts of fans and critics, with its infectious blend of Afro-dancehall, Reggae, and Afrobeat/Afropop.
Following the nomination, Tina Brown Africa expressed her excitement and gratitude, saying, “I'm honoured to be recognized by the Ashanti Music Awards for my hardwork and dedication to my craft. I'm thankful to my fans, team, and family for their unwavering support since debuting my career”.
‘Falling’ is a romantic tale of love and devotion, crafted in collaboration with long time producer Survivor Beatz and manager Qweku Ximple. The song's catchy melody and captivating lyrics have made it a fan-favourite, and its release on Valentine's Day was the perfect tribute for lovers.

Born in Nigeria, Tina Brown Africa is fluent in Yoruba, Twi, Ewe, and English: languages she uses for her compositions.
She is not limited to any particular genre: she does Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-hop, Afrobeat, Highlife and others.
A graduate of Dadease Agric Senior High School, Tina Brown Africa pursued an early music career right out of high school in 2018. Music became an indispensable part of her life as she sought to reconcile the world of music with the express human need to find community in shared spirit and experience.
She was nominated in the Dancehall Song of the Year category in the maiden edition of the Emerging Music Awards, got three nominations in KIM Awards, Hiplife Artiste of the year at the Ashanti Music Awards, among others.

Tina Brown Africa was endorsed by celebrated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and Lynx Entertainment artiste Kidi on Twitter in 2018.
It was the release of her 2018 single ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ that got her the highest visibility. She followed it up with more singles like Boa Nipa (Help Someone) in 2019 and in 2020 she released ‘Pandemic’, and ‘End SARs’.
