On Monday’s edition of PM Express will discuss the recent surge in Ghana’s Covid-19 cases and the roadmap to lifting restrictions.
President Akufo-Addo has extended the ban on public gatherings until the end of May 2020.
He made the announcement during his ninth address to the nation since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country.
But as many have called for the restrictions to be lifted to allow Ghanaians stranded abroad to come home, the guests on PM Express – Research Scientist and Virologist at the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research, Dr Augustina Angelina Sylverken; Public Health expert and Former Dean of School of Public Health, UHAS, Prof Margaret Kweku; Specialist in Clinical Infectious Diseases and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine Kansas health Science Centre, Dr Bertha Serwa Ayi and Research Fellow, West Africa Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens, Dr Yaw Bediako – will discuss how this can be done safely.
