Very reliable information gathered from the camp of Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord indicates that the club is preparing an audacious offer for Hearts of Oaks first choice goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy.
The source say Feyenoord has put together an offer they believe will be tempting enough for Hearts to refuse.
The Gomoa based club recently qualified to play in next season’s First Capital Plus Premier League Competition and wants to lure their former goalkeeper back to their fold to give them the experience they desire in goal.
Feyenoord Football Academy sealed a return to the Ghana Premier League after defeating Dunkwa FC 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on the last day of the national middle league competition.
Feyenoord will officially notify Hearts of their intentions at the end of the football season.
The Feyenoord source told sportscrusader.com in an interview that “We have put together an offer for Philemon McCarthy. We want him back to give us experience in goal. We intend to officially notify Hearts of our interest at the end of the season”.
McCarthy has struggled with injuries this season but should be back in post for Hearts before the season ends
