Satellites skipper Lawrence Lartey has backed his side to edge the highly fancied Spanish side in the crucial Group A encounter at the Turk Telecom Arena on Monday.Lartey was in confident mood as he addressed the media at the plush Polat Hotel in Istanbul. He admitted that the defeat to France though very hard to take, had rather motivated himself and his colleagues to put in a performance worthy of a result against the Spaniards.“The defeat to France was a wake up call for the entire squad. We managed to hold our own against them in the first half but we lost the plot in the second half. Our technical handlers and the players have done a thorough assessment of the French game and have corrected the errors that were made."The Spanish side is best known for their passing game and being technically and tactically strong. We have had a look at their game against the United States and other games they have played and we believe our game plan should be able to withstand them."I am sorry I will not be able to reveal those tactics and game plan here but you would surely see a completely different side tomorrow.”The Satellites take on the highly fancied Spain in a must win game at the Turk Telekom arena on Monday @ 18:00 GMT.
