R+B star Usher failed to impress festivalgoers with his appearance at Radio 1's Big Weekend concert - after shouting out the name of the wrong city to the audience.
The Yeah singer opened the BBC radio' station's festival in Mote Park, Maidstone, Kent, on Saturday but upset the 30,000 strong crowd after greeting them by shouting out "Hello Manchester".
Although the crowd, which was mostly made up of people native to Maidstone, took offense at the star calling out the wrong name, the rest of the urban hunk's set went down well with fans.
The event is the biggest free ticketed music festival in Europe, and has previously been held in Dundee, Scotland and Preston.
As well as Usher, the crowd were treated to pop superstar Madonna's only U.K. festival appearance this year, when she performed tracks from her new LP Hard Candy.
