A sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and businessman in Wa has accused the Upper West Regional Minister of setting thugs on him.
Shamsadeen Yakubu says the minister, Mahmud Khalid, caused some truck pushers in the capital to assault him and destroy a warehouse he owns because of comments he made on radio the minister found offensive.
Upper West regional correspondent Rafik Salam reports the incident has brought to the fore differences between the regional minister and party executives.
