President John Mahama has welcomed staff back to the Presidency after the New Year, commending them for what he described as their hard work and dedication throughout 2025.
In a video shared from Jubilee House, the President is seen exchanging pleasantries with staff and wishing them a Happy New Year after being received by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah.
Addressing the workers, President Mahama described 2025 as a successful year for the government, noting that while he often appears as the face of the administration, the real work is done behind the scenes.
“People don’t know that those cooking in the kitchen are the ones preparing the delicious food. I’m only the one serving it,” he said, thanking staff for their contributions and encouraging them to do even more in 2026.
The video shows the President moving from office to office within the Presidency, congratulating staff for a successful year and urging them to work harder to deliver improved outcomes for the people of Ghana in the year ahead.
