The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwasi Adu says the Dun’s Park will be hospitable grounds for opponents in the Ghana premier league.
Gold Stars secured qualification to the country's top-flight football competition for the first time in their about two decades of history.
With reports of pocket of hooliganism in the various league centres leading to what many say, is a sullied product, and, for their fear of their safety, Mr Adu said their home will be an abode for all football-loving fans across the country.
“Hooliganism is something every stakeholder of the game has expressed serious disapproval of," Kwasi Adu said in an interview with Kasapa FM.
He added that "… all the communities around Bibiani are much aware of our campaign against cruel acts which have taken away the shine and beauty of our game and for that matter, I don’t expect any of our fans to engage in such malicious acts.”
Over the years, Clubs are accused of protecting hooligans when they perpetrate what the media have described as heinous acts that mar the image of the league.
Kwasi Adu says, everyone associated with the club is committed to eliminating violence in football and will not be engaged in that as the Zone II champions abhor it.
“…as a football club, we will not condone such vicious acts here in Bibiani because we want Dun’s Park to be a welcoming venue for every football fan," he stated.
Bibiani Gold Stars secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history attaining 65 points from the National Division One League Zone II.
