Musician Eugy is starting a new journey in life after giving his life to Christ. He made the announcement in a new video shared on Instagram.
The singer, known for several hits posted a video of himself getting baptised to signify his new chapter, stating that this was not the 2023 he envisioned.
“That’s how powerful the Lord is. When Jesus calls you there’s nothing you can do about it. You must heed and answer.
Eugy stated that he has had to acknowledge that he was not living right and had to make changes to his life after the realisation.
He revealed that his father and his uncle were present to help usher him into a new life and was thankful to have them with him.
“I’ve always said that I know God loves me but I’ve also always tried to manoeuvre using my own might & strength and let’s be honest I wasn’t living righteously but there comes a point when you realise you must submit to the almighty father and allow his will to be done,” he wrote.
Eugy added “I’m not perfect, neither am I better than anyone else, but by God's grace I vow to move forward purposefully and with a clean heart. I got baptised last Sunday.”
Eugy says he is looking forward to what the future holds for him.
