Wilmar Africa Limited has once again shown its commitment to the well-being of consumers.
In a remarkable gesture of goodwill, Wilmar donated its food and household products to the Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and his household as part of the Eid-ul-Adha festivities.
The gesture by Wilmar Africa Limited was praised by the PRO of the Chief Imam, who received the items on behalf of the Muslim leader and community.
Sheikh Armiyao Shaibu expressed gratitude to the company for their kind gesture.

He said, "Given the difficult economic times the gesture was more than just a charitable effort. It demonstrates the company's dedication to its customers and the community in which it operates."
Wilmar Africa believes in the significance that joyful eating moments play in the lives of Ghanaians, particularly during holiday seasons such as Eid-ul-Adha; thus, promoting good nutrition and social connections through eating.
Wilmar partnered with several organisations in the celebration of Eid with cooking contests, and food donations among others.
During the recent Happy FM Salafest Cook-out within the Zongo communities in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, Wilmar’s flagship brands Frytol and Fortune delighted the participants with lots of goodies whiles promoting new recipe discoveries.
These cooking competitions lasted three months and targeted 15 major Zongo communities.
These activities emphasise the significance of corporate social responsibility in today's business world and Wilmar’s commitment to continuously supporting the Ghanaian consumers and community at large.

The product donation today is therefore a climax of all the Eid activities and wishing all Muslims a prosperous year ahead.
