The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has refuted claims that one of its clients, Woodfields Energy Resources owes the refinery $5 million.
According the TOR, the publications circulating are unsubstantiated and the impression created by Woodfields is erroneous.
“Tema Oil Refinery rejects, in no uncertain terms, the erroneous impressions being created by Woodfileds that it has caused a shortfall in their products in TOR tanks,” the state refinery stated in a rejoinder.
The statement also emphasized TOR’s commitment to the professional relationship established with its clients including Woodfields and does not resort to jeopardizing it.
Woodfields Energy Resources on March 20, 2021 issued a press release refuting reports that it owes Tema Oil Refinery.
In the statement issued by the company, it said such reports seek to tarnish the good reputation the company has built over the years.
