This year's version of the Annual World Poetry day has not been the same due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
While poetry lovers cannot go out for physical performances at their favourite theatres, studios have been left empty after President Akufo-Addo declared a ban on all social gatherings. To avoid contracting the virus, most Ghanaians are also practicing self-isolation or social distancing.
JoyNews caught up with two student performers on the University of Ghana Legon Campus who say the pandemic is having a major influence on their social lives including literary arts.
