Drama unfolded at the Mallam-Atta Market in Accra, Monday, when officials of Zoomlion Ghana Limited went on an inspection tour of the market, only to discover a heap refuse left at a spot its officers cleared a couple of days ago.
A pineapple seller, who was suspected to be responsible for puting the waste there initially denied responsibility but after being pressed, she admitted to the offense.
President of the Mallam-Atta Market Queens, Madam Grace Anim apologized for the trader's behaviour and promised to take punitive action against the her.

The tour was to monitor progress of work towards keeping Accra clean within the 10-day ultimatum issued by Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur last, week.
Mr. Jacob Mingle, Press Coordinator of the Alliance Waste a subsidiary of Zoomlion who led the tour to 19 dump sites in Accra, expressed satisfaction at work done so far.
