Music producer and CEO of EKB Records, Kiki Banson, has stated that the ‘10 Thirty’ album by singer Mz Vee is his best album in recent times.
The owner of the ‘Girl Talk Concert’ Kiki Banson who was at the ’10 Thirty’ experience concert by Mz Vee held on the 25th day of June 2022, at the Front/Back lounge, said that there hasn’t been a better album in recent times like the ’10 Thirty’ by Mz Vee.
“She has re-invented herself, she has evolved and I will put my name on this album and this is not a marketing conversation I am being very honest with you, I will put my name on this album anytime any day,” the exact words of Kiki Banson in a conversation with Ibrahim Ben-Bako (IB) the host of The Red-Carpet show on JoyNews.
Kiki who had the privilege of listening to the whole album a day before the concert told IB that he has never seen anyone who has put in all that work in an album like that before.
“I took my time to listen to the album yesterday when she sent it to me and for me, in recent times I haven’t seen anyone who’s put so much work into an album. If this album doesn’t become multi-platinum, I will be very surprised.”
IB asked Kiki Banson if the ’10 Thirty’ was his best Mz Vee album and he said no, "it is my best Mz Vee album in recent times."
“Not just Mz Vee, but I will dare to say my best album in recent times. It’s a producer’s album, it’s a performer’s album it’s a consumer’s album, all the elements are in place. It’s a combination of what’s happening now and what is to come. I think she has transcended time in this album, there is serious music, there is fun music, there is commercial music. She has done a fantastic job.”
Mz Vee released the ’10 Thirty’ on the 24th day of June 2022 a day after her 30th birthday. The album is titled ’10 Thirty because she turned 30 years on the 23rd of June and it’s been 10 years since she started her solo career.
