The Ministry of Education says the 2021/22 school placements will be released today.
In a press release, the Ministry said, “…the 2021/2022 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) into Senior High Schools (SHS)/ Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes, will go live on Saturday, March 26, 2022,” the Ministry of Education said in a press release.
According to the Ministry, out of the total number of 571,892 registered candidates, 555,353 candidates qualified to be placed.
Out of the 555,353 who qualified, a total of 367,811 candidates have successfully been automatically placed in one of their choices.
However, the remaining 187,542 qualified candidates could not be matched with any of their choices.
For such students, the Ministry of Education has recommended they undergo a self-placement procedure to choose a school from a list of available schools.
