Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has slammed the Black Stars players for their winless run in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team picked up one point from a possible six after a 1-0 defeat to Angola, followed by a 1-1 draw against Niger in their first two games.
These results left Ghana third in Group F and caused them to slip six places in the last FIFA World Rankings - from 64th to 70th.
In a fiery address to the players at their hotel on Tuesday, Kurt charged the playing body to perform or risk losing their invitation to the team.
"It is either you are with this family or you are out of this family,” he said.
‘It is simple and because me, I swear by my life, if you are out of this family, Ghana will never be represented by ten men, never, it will be 11 on the pitch.
“Somebody played before you, it is time for you to play and somebody will also play after you. In your time, if you don’t grab the opportunity, somebody is looking for the opportunity to play.”
The Black Stars will be aiming to secure maximum points in their doubleheader against Sudan, with the first leg taking place on October 10, followed by the second leg five days later.
