The grandeur of the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City was once again the setting for a prestigious night of recognition and inspiration as the 8th Edition of Ghana-West Africa Business Excellence Awards (GWABEA) honored the trailblazers of the business world across the sub-region.
The event brought together top executives, government officials, and captains of industry to celebrate innovation, resilience, and excellence in various sectors. With a strong theme centered on “Celebrating Business Resilience,” the ceremony highlighted companies and individuals whose achievements continue to shape West Africa’s economic landscape.

Guest speakers included Mr. Alexander Bogney Bewong, CEO of Gella Group and 2nd Vice President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who emphasized the importance of building robust local value chains and the need for cross-border collaboration. He commended Ghanaian businesses for their adaptability in challenging times.
Also delivering a keynote address was Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, the newly appointed Greater Accra Regional Minister. She lauded the private sector’s role in driving regional development and reaffirmed government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.

The night saw dozens of businesses and entrepreneurs from Ghana and across West Africa receiving awards for exceptional performance in areas such as manufacturing, finance, technology, real estate, healthcare, logistics, and more.
The Ghana-West Africa Business Excellence Awards continues to serve as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and celebrating remarkable standards that inspire sustainable growth across the sub-region.
