Six people are feared dead and several others severely injured in a car crash on the Kasoa-Winneba road, Poilce say.
The unfortunate incident happened at Gomoa-Buduatta junction in the Central Region at about 10:45pm on Thursday, March 17 while it was raining heavily, ASP John Adika of Ojobi District Police confirmed.
According to eyewitnesses, a Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GE-5526-15 which was heading from Takoradi to Accra collided with a Yutong bus with registration number GT-6454-10, heading from Accra to Takoradi.

The state of the two vehicles after the crash
The Sprinter driver was said to have lost control resulting in the accident. Two men and four women who were on board the Sprinter bus died on the spot.
Fire Service officers had to cut through parts of the Sprinter bus to get some seriously injured passengers out, an eyewitness, Kwabena Prince told Adom News.
He said the drivers of the two vehicles might not survive because of the severity of their injuries.
The injured passengers have been conveyed to the Winneba Government Hospital for treatment.
