Ghana has recorded 798 new infections of the novel coronavirus.
This brings the country’s case count to 37,812, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

However, nine more people have died from the virus leaving the death toll at 191.

These are from samples that were taken from the period June 27 to July 30 but reported from the lab on July 31.

The GHS website also indicated that 34,313 persons have recovered/discharged.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s number of active Covid-19 cases is 3,308.
