Police from the Buffalo Unit in Kumasi have arrested a man in possession of a human skull in Offinso in the Ashanti Region.
Many people rushed to the Kumasi Central Police Station in the afternoon of yesterday to catch a glimpse of the man when they heard about his arrest.
The suspect, Agyemang Duah, was undergoing questioning by police in Kumasi at the time of going to press.
A source that the Daily Graphic calls reliable indicated that the man had claimed that he was sending the skull to a Mallam in Kumasi, but the name of said Mallam is yet to be known.
The suspect, believed to be in his early 20s, surprisingly insisted he is 16.
The human skull, which was in a sack, is now in the possession of the police, pending further investigations.
According to the source, Duah, a native of Tetrem near Offinso, was arrested as he was preparing to travel to Kumasi following a tip off.
