This initiative is in collaboration with the government as part of the club’s flagship project to rid Accra of filth and to encourage good sanitation practice.
The Mayor of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, will officially commission the project on Wednesday, January 30, which is expected to cost GHȼ45,000 all funded by the club.
The club has over the years undertaken key projects including the refurbishment of the male ward at the Mamobi Polyclinic, construction of the Asempaneye Basic School in the Eastern Region, a USD 50,000 telehealth project in the Jirapa district of the Upper West Region in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Windsor as well as water and sanitation projects in Supreso and Tikong in the Eastern Region.
