Mr Mark Bowman, Managing Director of SABMiller Africa, a brewery in South Africa has paid a two-day working visit to Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), a subsidiary of the SABMiller to familiarise himself with the activities of the company.
Mr. Bowman expressed confidence in ABL's brands and the professionalism exhibited by the workers and urged them to keep it up.
A statement by the ABL on Friday, said the MD was enthused about the tremendous opportunities that the continent had such as the stability of governments, the presence of raw materials and the combined Gross Domestic Products growth of five per cent.
The statement said it was the belief of Mr Bowman that those qualities were needed to strengthen the partnership between SABMiller Africa office and the subsidiaries across the continent in order to improve upon productivity.
