The country's second major oil field Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme is expected to pour its first oil in 2016.
The lead operator of the field, Tullow disclosed this in its trading and operational update for the half year.
Tullow is also expecting daily production of crude oil from the field to reach 80 thousand barrels.
The oil exploration firm in the report noted that it expects production of crude oil at the Jubilee field to hit 120 thousand by the third quarter, after it completes work on its gas handling constraints of the floating vessel FPSO.
Tullow is looking at completing the work on some wells on the field by the October to help with gas exports next year.
Tullow also confirmed in the report that it's license for exploration for the Tano deep water basin has expired.
