Lionel Messi believes Neymar has signed for the 'ideal club' and welcomed the Brazilian to the club.
Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has welcomed the signing of Brazilian sensation Neymar.
Messi acknowledged that the arrival of the Brazilian to Barcelona could only be a good thing for the La Liga club.
I have the good fortune to play with many world champions at Barcelona. Having another great player join the club is good news and I think Barcelona is the ideal club for Neymar."
Barcelona's president Sandro Rosell played down suggestions that the two forwards couldn't play together by insisting they will form a perfect partnership.
"We have been lucky signing him before the Confederations Cup," Rosell confessed to Balaguer TV, alluding to the magnificent competition the Brazilian just competed in.
Meanwhile, Messi also spoke to the press about his goals for the following season.
He expressed interest in getting every possible title with Barcelona, because that is 'what we try every year'.
The Argentinian also declared that he wanted to be in perfect shape for the World Cup next summer.
"Winning the Cup is my dream, and my teammates', and the whole country'd.
"Nonetheless, I prepare for every competition the same way, and every game is as important to me as any other," stated the four-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Messi was speaking after his Argentinian team won 9-6 - in which he scored a hat-trick - against a 'world team' in a Chicago charity match.
