President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Abdul Nasiru Isahaku as the second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
The position became vacant after the appointment of Dr. Kofi Wampah as Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
Until his appointment, Dr Isahaku was the CEO of the Export Development and Agric Development Fund. He also worked with the World Bank.
President Mahama Friday sworn into office, Dr. Isahaku and the new 12 member board of the Central Bank which is chaired by the Governor.
Other members of the board include, Deputy Finance Minister Casiel Ato Forson.
Millison Narh is now the first Deputy Governor of the bank.
