A fetish Priest has been arrested by police in Agona Swedru for allegedly attacking two people leading to the death of a 42 year old man.
The accused, Nana Kwame, alias Nana Obotuo, is reported to have shot the men because they are criminals who invaded his house to rob him.
Agona Swedru Divisional Crime Officer Kennedy Adusei told journalists that about three months ago, Nana Obotuo, the priests, was consulted by three men including the deceased Ibrahim Adam to assist them to become rich.
The priest asked them to pay a fee of 1,000.00 Ghana cedis. He also told them to wait for three months by which time the medicine would have worked, and then they will become rich.
But their dreams were shattered.
They therefore decided to go for their money on October 10, but the priest turned his gun on them and shot them, claiming they were robbers who had come to rob him.
Nana Kwame was subsequently arrested by the police.
