The Executive Director of National Service Secretariat, has appealed to service personnel and prospective personnel, to follow laid down structures of the scheme.
This, Mustapha Ussif said, would help both the secretariat’s smooth running and “the personnel to enjoy a stress-free service.”
Speaking on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM Friday, Ussif addressed various issues that plagued personnel right from the registration to through to the end of their service.
Capital among these challenges, is the non-payment of service stipends of GH¢559 to personnel.
Reacting to this, Ussif said the challenge comes as a result of the personnel not submitting their monthly assessment form.
“We audit every form before making payments,” he said adding that “we do not just pay you because we have posted you.”
