Former Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, has lost his elder sister, Hajara Yussif.
Hajara Yussif passed away in Accra last week after a brief illness. She has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites. Her final funeral prayers (Adua) are scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 6, in Koforidua.
The former Minister, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for the Yagaba Kubore Constituency, announced the family’s loss and the funeral arrangements via his official Facebook page.
"On behalf of my family, I humbly invite friends, loved ones, and well-wishers to join us for the final funeral prayers (Adua) of our beloved sister, Hajara Yussif," he shared.
The funeral ceremony will be held at Opoku Nsiah Lane 12, adjacent to White House, Mile 50, Koforidua. It is expected to begin at 9:00 a.m.
Mustapha Ussif spent part of his early life in Koforidua, where his family continues to reside.
