The race for the MTN FA Cup begins in the first week of November with the preliminary round fixtures kicking off the campaign.
Forty-eight (48) qualified teams from the 2nd Division will play each other in the Preliminary Round same as the 48 Division 1 clubs.
Qualified teams from the Preliminary Round will then be joined by the Premier League clubs for the Round of 64 draw.
New Edubiase are the reigning Cup champions after becoming the third different winner in the last three seasons of the competition.
The team that emerges as winner of the MTN FA Cup competes in the CAF Confederations Cup.
