The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) in collaboration with renowned beverage giants Coca-Cola will be bringing the World Cup Trophy to Ghana for a consecutive third time.
The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola will give more than one million people on the Africa continent the chance to experience football’s most coveted prize in their own communities ahead the biggest Mundial in Brazil.
Amongst 88 countries destined for the tour, the trophy is destined to arrive in Ghana from November 25- 27, 2013.
Upon arrival in the first West Africa country, his Excellency President of the republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama will be the first person to officially outdoor the trophy at the Flag Staff house.
The trophy will then be exposed to the general public at the Accra International Conference Centre on November 26. Consumers of the world’s largest beverage will get the opportunity to take pictures with the authentic World Cup Trophy.
The trophy makes an official return to its next destination on November 27. Meanwhile the Coca-Cola Company will also used the occasion to announced and release the official anthem for FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
