The European Union says they would soon begin disbursing funds that were held up as a result of concerns with management of the economy.
The EU is one of the country's donor partners that froze funds meant to support some projects outlined in the budget.
This affected government's operations as well as the completion of some infrastructure projects.
The partners earlier this year pledged some 188 million dollars for Ghana, however a little over 20 million has come so far.
But Head of EU delegation to Ghana, Claude Maerten tells Joy Business since some of their concerns have been addressed by goverment, the funds would now be coming soon.
The move by the EU should come as good news for Ghana especially at a time that government is having challenges with revenue mobilization.
Joy Business has learnt that the Swiss government as well as the World Bank have also begun disbursing their portion of the budget support funds. Ghana's partners under the multi donor budget support program are made up of 10 countries and institutions.
The institutions include World Bank, IMF, African Development Bank, Germany, Denmark, UK, Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands and the EU.
The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur had told Joy Business earlier this month that huge drop in funding from the country's donor partners is because of the country's middle income status.
