The Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold SC, Kudjoe Fianoo, is optimistic the club will triumph in this season's Premier League, despite suffering a shocking defeat to Inter Allies.
Inter Allies thumped Ashgold 2-0 in week 12 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tema Sports Stadium Wednesday, thanks to Dennis Antwi and Prosper Kassim goals.
Kudjoe Fianoo told reporters after the game: "We were very complacent after beating Kotoko and Inter Allies to were desperate to move from the relegation zone."
"This is a temporary set back because we played an away match whiles our main competitors played at home."
"We have more games to play and we will definitely win the League. It is not over yet."
Ashgold sit third on the league log with 22 points,five points adrift leaders Asante Kotoko.
