The Agricultural Development Bank(ADB) has established an Agency at
the South Campus of the University of Education, Winneba with the installation of Automatic Machine(ATM) facility to ensure quick and prompt services to the University Community and other business men and women.
Mr. Dickson Addae Agona Swedru branch Manager of the Bank who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency(GNA) in an interview at Swedru, said the opening of Agency in the South Campus was to assist the numerous customers, especially students who were commuting to Swedru to transact businesses.
The Manager expressed the hope that the installation of ATM would assist the University Community, traders, business people and others to have easy access to their money anytime, especially at weekends.
According to Mr. Addae, plans are far advanced for the installation of ATM at Swedru main branch early next year to serve customers in and around Agona Swedru.
He said the Christmas loan facility instituted by the management was to assist teachers, nurses, police personnel, prison officers, doctors, paramedical staff and other salary workers in the area to enable them to spend the yuletide in a happy moon and also pay their children's school fees.
The Manager assured the farmers in the area that the bank would introduce more improved products to enable them to expand their businesses, farms and payment of children's schools fees.
He promised customers that, quality and fast services would be rendered during the Christmas periods to avoid delays in their business tranctions.
Mr Addae appealed to the Customers at Swedru and Winneba to return all their old cedi notes and coins to the bank since the Bank of Ghana (BOG) would not extend the date to next year to avoid waste.
